Later this year World of Warcraft turns 20 and Blizzard is celebrating it in a huge way. We get a new event that lasts 2 months and a lot of new rewards to earn.
New Content
This event will also be the first mini-patch for The War Within. Patch 11.0.5 will bring some permanent improvements to the game and some limited time rewards.
Lets start with the permanent additions to the game:
Classic Timewalking
During the event players can do Classic Timewalking dungeons. After the event they will go into the TW rotation and return every few months. The dungeons are:
- Deadmines
- Zul’farrak
- Stratholme
- Dire Maul
New Dracthyr classes
The Dracthyr race can play more classes then just Evoker with 11.0.5:
- Warrior
- Warlock
- Mage
- Priest
- Rogue
- Hunter
In addition to this, non Evoker Dracthyrs can fight in their human form.
Anniversary Event
The Anniversary Event will last several months and brings us a lot of thing to do and thing to collect.
New Raid: Blackrock Depths
Blackrock Depths will be a 10-15 man raid during the event. The rewards are equal to the current season and you also have the same difficulties except for Mythic.
Tier 2 Transmog HD
The tier 2 transmog sets (Blackwing Lair) will be remade with modern graphics and can be collected by players.
World Events
In this event we will revisit older events like The Opening Gates of Ahn’Qiraj – Scourge, Legion, Qiraji invasions in Silithus with Tichondrius, Ossirian and Kel’thuzad world bosses.
There will also be some smaller events like a mini trail of style and a mount show-off.
