Hello everyone, you may noticed that this site had become slower recent months. I noticed this as well and today i will tell you what will happen to solve this problem.
So what is going on?
When i started this website back in 2017 it was just a school project to learn using HTML/CSS. Last year i migrated this site to WordPress instead of codding all the articles manually. I used a premium theme and made some changes to that so the website looks like i wanted it. But this theme I’ve been using is draining resources from this website because it is so big. Now that i am done with learning i want to build my own WordPress theme. Building this takes time and don’t expect to see it anytime soon.
What has a new theme to do with the Site Speed?
Well i am building this time with only the things this site needs. So the theme will be much lighter then the current one. I will try to keep the look and feel of the current site but some things may change a bit. Meanwhile i will continue to make tutorials and make posts. I am sure this will solve the speed issues for this site. I am also working on some new site features and changing the way tutorials work. For tutorials i will now add the source code when possible like i did in my last Warcraft III tutorial. This will make it easier for you to use it instead of typing it all over. I want to update the older tutorials as well at some point.
So there you have it. This is what will change on Nuanet in 2020. Please tell me what you think of it and i am always open to suggestions.
