After 13 Years since Age of Empires III was Released we get some more info about the next game added to the series. Age of Empires 4 will take us back to the medieval time and brings a whole new experience.
Age of Empires is back!
The first Age of Empires game was released in the 90’s and the last one in 2006. Since then we had some “mobile” games and a few remasters. Age of Empires IV will be the first new PC game from the series since 2006. Back in the 90’s Age of Empires was a revolutionary RTS Game. One that set a standard for the future of RTS. Age of Empires IV was announced all the way back in 2017 but noting was heard from it since. And we only knew that there would be a Age of Empires IV but not what the game would be like. But at X019 we finally saw some gameplay. We still have no release date but it is good to know that they are working on the game right now.
Age of Empires II DE
At the same day the Remaster of Age of Empires II was Released. What gives you the original game and the expansion and even gives you a whole new expansion. The graphics while still 2D look much better. But the way the game looks and feels remains the same as it was. Many fans are hyped or the return of Age of Empires II. Last year we also saw the Remaster of the Original Game and we will see a remaster for the third game in the future. But lets not forget about Age of Mythology. This game is part of Age of Empires but more focused on mythology instead of the real history. Microsoft stated that this game would also get a remaster in the future. So we get one new game and two remasters in the future. It would seem that Age of Empires is back!
