Blizzard created a post that they are hiring people for a new game, a survival game. While not much is know about this new game we know that this game will not be on Azeroth (Warcraft), Sanctuary (Diablo) or in the Koprulu sector (Starcraft) but a whole new universe we have never been before…
It seems this game is in a very early stage of development and will not be out for quite a few years. Nevertheless it is a good sign Blizzard is making a new IP. In the past if Blizzard made a game it was revolutionary in its genre. Their last new IP was Overwatch and that game came out in 2016. But then again that was the old Blizzard. This was before Warcraft III Reforged and Battle for Azeroth. But if Blizzard wants to prove they still have what it takes a new IP could be the right way.
