The long awaited sequel of City Skylines is here. City Skylines 2 brings us a new game with many new features.
New Gameplay
While the game stays true to the first installment. City Skylines 2 brings some new features that the first game did not have. The maps are much larger to begin with and this really adds to the game. If you want you can create more then 1 big city in a map now and that really adds to the realism. Another nice feature is the new road tool. You can now build better offramps and more detailed roads in general.
Another nice thing about this game is that some expansion features from the first game are now in the base game. Things like seasons, advanced transport, walk area’s and advanced industry are now included from the start with no extra costs.
Issues
While this game is really good, it has also a lot of issues. The game has a lot of performance issues, making the game run poor on good gaming PC’s. For some people the game is unplayable once you have a large city. Some reports said the game can even crash when there are too many people in your city. I can tell a whole story about these issues and make a list of them but i wont because i can just say that the game runs poorly on most devices. While the game has great promise, right now i would stick at the first game.
