With chromium 76 on the horizon it is time to look at whats new and implant it into this site. While Firefox already supports this chromium will soon support browser themed css codes. This means that web developers can change the look of the website depending if you use light or dark mode in your browser. Nuanet always uses a dark themed layout but if you visit this website now in light mode you will see that Nuanet will have a light theme as well so step into the light!
Go and Step into the light or the darkness!
With this new feature users can have a bit more influence at the look of the web. If you prefer the dark theme Nuanet will use the dark theme. You like the light theme? Thats fine we adept to what theme you want. With the new light theme you will see that the websites dark colors have been replaced with brighter colors and the text is now darker. In the future more and more websites will support this and the user will be able to make the web more comfortable for their taste.
What’s new in Chromium!
Chromium 76 will feature the light/dark theme options for websites. Also all chromium browsersGoogle Chrome, Opera, Brave and the New Edge will get backdrop filter support. Backdrop filter can blur everything behind a block or element on website. Just like windows 7 had with the taskbar. While this was already in Microsoft edge and Safari it was rarely used because most people use Chrome. With this feature you will see the webdesign change over time to a more transparent look.
Also flash player support is as good as gone with chromium 76. This means that websites using flash will no longer work in chromium browsers. Flash was popular very years ago but it lost its support because of security issues. The first Iphone also had no support for flash and flash never gained much support for smartphones at all. But if you still want to use flash you could always use Internet Explorer or another older browser.
When will we be able to get all this?
At this moment some features are already here for example Edge had Backdrop filter and Firefox theme support. Other than those you have to wait until chromium 76 comes out later this month. You can already us chromium 76 in canary builds of Chrome and Edge today.
